Introducing: The Faeria World Circuit
The Faeria World Circuit is a seasonal based competition where players earn points by participating in the in-game monthly ranked ladder, bi-weekly Championship League tournaments, and sanctioned community tournaments. After each season, the players with the most points compete in the Seasonal Cup for $2500 in prizes!
We've designed the Faeria World Circuit as an overhaul to the official Faeria tournament system, based heavy amounts of competitive player feedback over time.
We remain heavily committed to supporting Faeria esports as much as possible. We believe it not only showcases the game at the highest achievable level, but also helps us feel the pulse of the current state of the game at the highest tiers of play.
Here you'll find all the information you need to know!
Faeria World Circuit Structure
The Faeria World Circuit, or FWC, is based on a system of points.
Players can earn points by:
- Competing in the monthly Ranked ladder
- Competing in official FWC Championship League tournaments
- Competing in officially sanctioned community tournaments
Each official Championship League tournament will offer $400 in prizes.
At the end of each season, FWC Points are totalled, and the highest 32 players compete in the FWC Seasonal Cup for $2500 in prizes.
Seasons
Each season lasts exactly 3 months. There are four seasons in the year.
- Season of Aurora
- January - March
- Season of Ruunin
- April- June
- Season of Khalim
- July - September
- Season of Seifer
- October - December
Monthly Ranked ladder
The seasonal ladder normally resets on the first Monday of each month, at 12pm Noon CEST(or CET). At the time of the season reset, standings are recorded and the top 25 players earn FWC Points. (Note: We previously announced only the top 20 players, but decided to expand it to 25!)
Points are awarded as follows:
- 1st-10th - 100
- 11th-20th - 75
- 21st-25th - 60
Monthly ladder points count toward the current season in progress on the date of the reset itself.
This means there are three sets of monthly ladder points awarded per season. For the Season of Aurora, these will be the monthly resets in January, February, and March.
