Yes, you read that title right. It's not just Demonic Salmon in a control deck. The salmon is the primary win condition. Buff it with Aurora to set up a 2-turn clock out of the blue. Or buff it with Savior of the Meek and prevent any large creatures from getting near it for the next 3–4 turns.
Since resurgence part 2 came out, I've been trying to find a way to make Savior of the Meek work well in a deck, and this is a place where it really shines. In addition to working with the Salmon, it works wonderfully with Flying Piranha and Shaytan Assassin. Normally, Shaytan assassin is weak to Emperor's Command and Humbling Vision, but the Savior protects it from that.
Safeguard is also an underused card that can be great for keeping your Piranha or Salmon on the board. A 3/5 flying, jump, divine, protection, deathtouch piranha can really take control of the whole board. A 4/4 flying protection divine Salmon on face that gets +1/+1 each turn is also a major threat.

To play it, mulligan for deathtouch creatures, Battle Toads, and Soul Drain. Start with lakes, and build up one side to place a desert within Salmon range of your opponent's orb. If you draw a Salmon, hold on to it until you can play it with Aurora or Savior in the same turn. Prioritize removing your opponent's collectors.
It does well against decks with a moderate number of creatures, but struggles against decks with many beefy creatures or with a large number of small collectors. It does well against spell-based decks because they often have no way of dealing with a divine Salmon.
Glad to see the Meek represented.
Methinks their hardest setting is due to the land reqs, but doubling up it’s nice to see safeguards since you can put those on ahead of time.
