BG Yoak Swarm

Mulligan for:
Mochi / Gabrian / Oak / Willow
This deck can fare well against rushes, since commanders trade even with buffed axe grinders and macemen. Generally Oakfathers are hard to remove and are very bulky, so even though you might want them to trigger Gabrian / discounted by Mochi, it is wise to keep one in hand if you dont get Willow.

Even though this is a swarm deck, it does much better against red AoE removal, since your yaks can act immediately, can be buffed to 6/6 with Aurora or even crazier stuff with Gift of the Rakoa, allowing big plays out of nowhere. Most of the time you'll have a Willow or Oakfather with some token creatures that'll die to garudan or firestorm, so you'll never have an empty board and clear Garudan.

Preferably, you don't want to have anything else with 7 or above in your starting hand, so they can trigger Gabrian Commander and can be discounted by Mochi.

Early pressure with Buffs onto Commanders or just drop an Oak Father.
Develop your lands onto one side only and take control of the wells. Sometimes it can even be wise to start to both sides if you have a commander in your starting hand. It is very important to get lands next to at least 3 wells so your hasted Yaks can collect.

You may include Magnus or Baron Thulgar.

This deck can OTK due to Yak attack and Gift of the Rakoa.
