So lately ive seen a few people play this deck and theyve been doing it pretty wrong so i think a propper guide is due now.
Mulligan Priotities:
-Going First: Sagi Mistral Manta.
hands with monks and prayer or demon and sagi or demon and manta or sagi windsoldier or basically any two creatures + removel (except zealous) are keepable. But your gameplan changes drastically depending on what opening hand you have (i dont know how to structure this so the landplacement guide is gonna be in the mulligan guide cuz i suck.). Assume you have a mistral guide a monk and a prayer you will build one desert in front one desert to the side (opposite side) and a desert above that, this way guide can collect and monk can hit face. Same applies if you dont have a haste creature but have guide and a creature. If you have sagi and manta you want to tripple desert up because the middle tile is usually the optimal position for manta (you miss one faeria that you would get if you go to the sides from manta getting active on the well. But i think thats worth it...you hear me lizzard? its worth!) tho depending of what your opponent does this might be wrong if you think an efficient clear on manta is possible for him. in some matchups going double desert front and playing sagi is risky (going first against yellow allows them to explore desert and windsoldier sagi. blue with an elemental start could make a lake in front of well-lake and ninja toad sagi which is a disaster.) but desert to the side is fine too. If you have a hand with something like monk and demon you can desert in front or even start with double neutral and play yellow rush for a while but i need to test that more.
...
Going Second: Now your dream start is probably Guide monk sagi prayer but that doesnt mean that you mulligan manta ofc. It is now safe to double desert in front if you play against yellow since they have no explore to connect the lands and windsoldier sagi so you can start tripple desert in front if you have manta and sagi (even if lizzard disagrees.). if you have a guide yoi can build to the opposite well with the explore and take the desert above the explore tile or above the desert on the well (depending on how much you value smorcing in with your current board state, the desert above your explore tile is better for smorc the desert above the desert on the well is better for collection.). Other than that the strategies from the first part apply if you go second aswell.
Keep in mind that it is not that important for you to deal damage to orb your real goal is to keep the opponent from collecting. If a creature of your opponent doesnt collect it doesnt exist (even if its blocking your sagi it will be very easy to outmaneuver a creature in the middle of the board with guides fanatics and mantas. a creature in the middle is a dead creature.). If your opponent collects you want to pressure with flying demons and mantas and threaten to activate prayers and gain faeria from saggi. look for lines that allow you to set up as many collectors as possible ( fanatics in double collection.) try to plan ahead for those lines.
Ok this is all ive got i think. you kinda have to freestyle a lot with a deck like this and i think that goes for most yellow decks.
taking out one or two zealous for last nightmare is recommended. Memesday might work in this deck.
Tl;dr: Deck OP climbed to top 20 in one day with it. nerf manta abrakam ffs itslikeafucking7/5withflyingcharge2butitsin2creaturesthatcancollectsthatslikea2faeriarefundwtfabraka.................
