Controll deck that uses efficient creatures and op manta rider to stall until you get 0 faeria hateseeds and 4 faeria 12/12. against any mindrange deck you try and contest their side with efficient creatures and removal and you eventually outscale them. against yellow tempo build to both sides and try to keep board, you will be hard to starve out if you get to your 0 faeria creatures. other controll decks are a problem since they likely outscale you and you cant rush to well but its still possible since you have quiet a bit of burn, still gy-sac, br-controll, yakkapult-swarn and so on are favored against this deck. But this deck should be favored against mid-range decks especially red combat.
Landplacement can be tricky because you want a desert for manta rider to doublecollect but also idealy an axegrinder spot, also a defensive mountain or one in doublecollection depending on the matchup, for that reason i put in air elemental to add some flexibility with the lands and it still provides the scaling.
Overall a red yellow deck that isnt burn and performs decently on ladder.

This is an archetype i’ve tried making a viable version of, ever since they nerfed shedim pest and effectively made it a unused card. So i applaud you for giving it a go :). Since it’s a control variant, what do you feel about -3 hate seeds (never worked for me in any deck i made with them), and adding +2 devouring plants and garudan for the aoe?
First of i wanna make one thing clear cuz im kinda surprised that this deck is sort of popular: its not a very strong deck. Also i think the hate seeds are pretty necessary maybe more so than the firebringers. 0 faeria 4/4 are about your only change against yellow tempo, devouring pants on the other hand kinda do nothing and get 1-shot by manta rider and stuff. But yeah of course you can put Garudan in basically instead of any other card. I mean cant do much wrong by putting in op cards…if it was possible this deck would be 24 manta riders 3 hateseeds and 3 firebringers…maybe one fanatic.
What happened to the air elemental?
i took it out for bombslingers.
