Pandora Updates

We've just rolled out an update to our Pandora mode, which many of you have been eagerly looking forward to - you can read all about this update in our dedicated Pandora update blog post.

Third Monthly Cup Invited Guest

As finalists from our previous Monthly Cup, Sweety and HeliosAflame have already been invited as our first two guests for Monthly Cup #2. Now it's time to announce our third guest, none other than....

French player Babel has been playing and streaming Faeria on the GamersOrigin Twitch channel for some time now. This time, he'll be putting himself against the best of the best for a chance at a large cash prize.

If you want to compete yourself, our second open qualifier takes place tomorrow! Head over to esports.faeria.com to enter or find more information. If you aren't one of the 32 finalists, be sure to watch them battle it out in the finals, on Saturday August 6th which will be streamed live on the same webpage.

There is also a small change incoming to the current esports.faeria.com page - Elo ratings will no longer be displayed on the Vote For Your Favorite page, as they'll no longer be very applicable with the new Seasonal Elo adjustment in today's patch. In the near future, however, we will be offering a better interface for viewing this sort of information online.

Chatter from Last Week - Expansions

In last week’s Faeria Friday, we revealed the next steps on our road ahead and some of the milestones we will pass along the way. One of the most discussed topics among the community was that of expansions and how they will be acquired. After v1.0, we will be dedicating resources towards the creation of regular expansion packs.

We announced that the expansion sets would not be purchasable in the same way as the core set currently is. That said, it remains important to us that new players can come into the game at any stage in the future without being left too far behind, and so we will certainly explore different options to let people catch-up with previous expansions.

Season 3 is ending

Remember, the Ranked season ends on the first Monday of every month at 12:00pm Noon CEST. That places this season's end conveniently on August 1st.

We'll be closing the Vote For Your Favorite in the Monthly Cup at 11:59 CEST the night before on July 31st - so get your votes in while you can for your favorite player to compete. Note that we've recently fixed a bug where some previous votes were not displaying correctly.

At the end of each Ranked season, player Ranks are reset as follows:

Current player rank → Rank after each reset
Ranks 20 to 25 → Rank 25
Ranks 15 to 19 → Rank 20
Ranks 10 to 14 → Rank 15
Ranks God to 9 → Rank 10

Rewards are given as follows:

Rank 20 or better receives:

• 1 Pandora Coin

Rank 15 or better receives:

• 3 Pandora Coins
• Unique seasonal card back

God ranks receive:

• 5 Pandora Coins
• Upgraded version of seasonal card back
• Top 8 are automatically invited to the $3000 Monthly Cup
